Roadmap
In 2021, we initiated the development of FindData, a decentralized application for data mining and processing. Our objective was to utilize a multitude of mobile devices for their data storage and mining capabilities. The inherent edge characteristics of mobile devices, combined with their sporadic operational states and data collection functionalities, ideally suited our goals.
Following the planned release of a FindData demo in 2022, the concept of employing mobile devices as node units quickly garnered favorable responses. As our team deliberated further, a new, more profound idea evolved from the original: why limit ourselves to mobile data processing when we could also create a decentralized mobile computing application? This thought led to the foundation of DMCN, a concept that proved more fundamental and widely applicable, reflecting a significant advancement in our strategic vision.
May 10, 2022 marks the foundation of DMCN Labs.
We:
In August 2022, completed the development of the DMCN protocol as well determined the tokenomics of DMCN, and finalized the development of DMCN APIs and customized application standards by November.
In February 2023, developed a new version of FindData, based on the DMCN protocol framework, and officially completed its MVP internal testing.
In July 2023, completed the development of the DMCN mobile app for both Android and iOS. In September, we launched the first phase of internal testing on the testnet, allowing users to connect and become computing nodes.
In January 2024, completed the first phase of testing and underwent product iteration. Key features included the design of the free-to-earn Xerosphere planet.
In April 2024, officially launched the public beta, open to the first batch of seed users.
